On 15th March 2020 the Cyprus Government declared a state of emergency and announced a lockdown on several business practices and operations. Strong new, cautionary measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic were enforced and will continue to be in force until further notice.
Stephensons Estate Agents remains committed to doing everything possible to protect our employees, customers, affiliates, families and friends. Subsequently, our offices will remain closed to the public until further notice.
During this time, all enquiries will be managed remotely.
Regarding sales of real estate, disruptions are in place with most legal firms and at various governmental organisations (e.g. Land Registry, tax offices). This will impact the sales process including those which were started before the lockdown and have not yet completed. We will expect the government to provide our office with notice on when these key services will be reinstated.
For those pursuing rentals, we are still in a position to offer viewings and to conclude contractual arrangements, but note that this will be done restrictively and only with express consent from owners. During viewings, we ask you to avoid any bodily contact (e.g. shaking hands) and ensure that a hand-sanitizer is available.
From all at Stephensons Estate Agents, we wish you all safe days ahead. Your safety remains our top priority.
Best wishes,
